January 3, January 11, pm - pm. January 25, We started at ROCS halfway through their first year and were enchanted with the classrooms, the teachers and the learning focus. Our son thrived in such a positive hands on learning environment and has always enjoyed the outdoor free play. This year has been consistently inconsistent, but the teachers have handled each turn with grace and kindness and we are so thankful for their caring and positivity.
I feel gratitude each day that I can send my child to a school where childhood is viewed as a precious and magical time. Her love for learning will serve her well for the rest of her education and life. All her teachers have been most caring and hard working. I love the small community feel, and we both loved volunteering in the beginning before I started working full-time.

We will work towards antiracist teaching in terms of both our pedagogy and our course content. Sports : One benefit of belonging to a small school is that our sports teams are open to a wider range of students and abilities, and are perhaps more akin to intramural or club sports one would find in a college setting. All sports require a physical before participation. Check the RCHS web page for news about try-out schedules each season. Consider a carpool, city bus, or TTA bus. Remember that our teachers volunteer as traffic monitors, so be patient, thoughtful and respectful as you wind your way SLOWLY through the carpool line in the afternoons.
If your student drives to school, encourage him or her to be courteous and mindful of neighbors and to obey traffic laws.
